About Me

Hello and thank you for your interest! My name is Alinar and I have been professionally filming weddings since 2021. I was born in Edmonton, Alberta and grew up in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. My passion for videography brought me to Vancouver where I would attend film school to help broaden my knowledge about filmmaking and sharpen my skills. Throughout the years I have worked on music videos, films, events, and have even done some work with CBC News. After graduating film school, I was hired by a wedding film company and officially became a professional wedding videographer.

 

I started One Sweet Day in 2022 and have been loving it ever since. My favourite part about the job is getting to know the couples, learning their stories and putting together a product that captures their day in a way that they can cherish and watch for many years to come. I have shot many types of weddings from small elopements to Catholic, Hindu, Sikh, and Muslim.
